I have taken photos of the moon with my Samsung camera and I have remembered the settings: EV in -1.7 to -2, ISO low, 100. Here is one sample photo of a nearly full moon taken with the Fujifilm superzoom camera:
Shutter 1/320s, f/7.1.
You do not need binoculars anymore to view great images of the moon.
